Principle of CAPS and dCAPS Markers

Steps using of Petri dishes or plates initiate by lid off Petri dish or plate and pour medium in about ¼ or ½ inch depth of dish or plate and swirl plate to distribute medium uniformly and let dish cool and harden for an hour and cover dish with lid and wrap them with Parafilm to avoid moisture loss and contamination and invert Petri dishes of plates during incubation to avoid falling droplets into media due to condensation of vapor which leads to uneven growth culture, During work with Petri dishes or plates sterilization should be done before and after use and gloves should be worn (Watch Related Video in #geneticteacher) #geneticteacher
